On December 2006, our world was turned upside down when our son, Cole, now age 4, was diagnosed with a rare genetic syndrome called Prader-Willi Syndrome.
By far, the last two years have been the most challenging that we’ve ever experienced. Despite that, we have been overwhelmed by how fortunate we are in many ways. Most notable are the compassion and extraordinary support of our families, friends and community. Knowing you are all in our corner makes it possible to face everyday.
What is Prader-Willi Syndrome? PWS is a complex genetic disorder that typically causes low muscle tone, short stature, cognitive disabilities, problem with behaviors, and a chronic feeling of hunger that can lead to excessive eating and life–threatening obesity.
Cole’s medical diagnosis is also complicated with Speech Apraxia (difficulty expressing himself), PDD-NOS (a form of Austism), Hypotonia (low muscle tone), as well as Sensory Processing Disorder.
Due to Cole’s complex medical needs we are holding this fundraiser as Cole’s needs extend beyond the typical insurance coverage. We want to provide Cole with opportunities to become the best he can possibly be.

Of course we hope that you can attend our event at The American Hotel 18-20 East Main Street • Freehold, Jersey 07728. The event is scheduled for September 10th, 2011.
Tickets are $50.00 each which includes, cocktail hour, dinner and a dessert. This event will offer a DJ, gift basket auction and silent auction as well. Attire is Semi-Formal. If you would like to reserve a table please kindly mail a full payment for 10-12 seats. You can purchase tickets by mailing a check/cash to 80 Daniele Drive Ocean, NJ 07712 and making checks payable to The Cole Lombardi Supplemental Benefits Trust. If you would like to purchase tickets at the door the cost per ticket will be $60.00.
